Great thread, and you're absolutely nailing why the new SEC sucks arse.

We need the SEC West back with our traditional annual games. They carry our heritage and are an ongoing story.

Still one of my favorite sacks of all time, the way he just goes completely sideways to put his full weight into the tackle. Easy roughing the passer in today's NFL

That sack was the 2nd biggest highlight on our intro video for around 15 years.

2004, LSU takes an undefeated Auburn to the absolute wire. Vaughn misses the final extra point but LSU is called for jumping over the line, a re do happens on the PAT and Auburn wins.

Auburn would not lose a game that season.

One of the wildest games in the series.

That's one of the away games I'm going to request a ticket for. I enjoy going to games at Auburn. It's a great road trip.

Auburn was THE game when I was a student in early 2000's.

I'm a little older, but Auburn and Florida were my games back then. Respectful hate of Florida, utter disdain for Auburn. We knew we had to win those games to get to Atlanta at that time. Shaped how I feel about rivals forever.

God help everyone if we actually start the season off well and look like a competent team again. Atmosphere will be incredible.

First game in the AU student section. Moved in that morning and went to the game with my new roommates/suitemates. Hell of an introduction to college life.

Both teams better have those chinstraps buckled and tightened. I don't think any SEC series is as consistently hard hitting.
