I think it will be a good game. Y'all are having a good year and you always play LSU tough. May the best team win. Geaux Tigers!

Beating OM by fourteen at home and never trailing > Trailing OM with one minute to go in the fourth.

Just saying...

#1 - Ole Miss plays harder for our game. fact. It is a bitter rivalry.

#2 - Our D's kryptonite is a well executed zone-read QB out of the spread. Auburn and Ole Miss run essentially the same scheme......our worst games.

#3 - Your offense is a perfect fit for our D. We will pressure Mallet regularly. He will give it to the SEC's best (and youngest) secondary.

Tell yourself whatever you need to so you can sleep better. Your offense would prefer facing another crew.....

POT will be the Hogs undoing.

Knile Davis is going to tear through your defense in the first quarter and have you seeing flashbacks of DMac, then your young secondary will get sucked in on play-action and Mallett will throw laser-guided missiles deep to our wide open receivers. Les will need so many miracles just to keep up he'll have eaten enough stadium grass to fill a dinner salad by halftime. In the third quarter we finally pull away, and by the fourth quarter our second team goes in to mop up. Emasculated, Les Miles flies to Cuba for a sex change operation and starts going by Leslie.

To be fair, that game lasted long enough that we had some players that had to celebrate birthdays towards the end of it. A few girlfriends went into labor as well...lots of distractions.

Seriously though, we dominated that game until the "extra" halftimes kicked in, by the finale there were about 30,000 people there.

This is also true, because of conservation of momentum. Each time Mallett throws a pass, he exerts a torque on the earth's axis of rotation. Our offense tends to favor passes to one side of the field so instead of balancing out, the net torque will cancel the earth's angular momentum and the earth will stand still.

lsu vs arkansas
I just think that we are considered a tier 2 program but this season we are proving to be a force to be reckoned with

some people do consider ya'll a tier 2 program, esp in louisiana and i don't know why. but the people who've been to your campus and are familiar with your history see you for what you are; a top of the line div. 1 sports program. you definately have top of the line facilities in all sports, as good as LSU's. while i have tons of respect for arkansas, ya'll seem to have a chip on your shoulder (general statement) about "belonging" with the big boys. i suspect it's because some people don't give you the respect you deserve. it's in all likelyhood one of the factors in why ya'll play us so hard every year. i know lots of arky fans and they really love beating LSU. this is the first year in awhile where both teams have a hell of a lot riding on the outcome. it should, as usual, be one hell of a football game where the outcome will be determined late. good luck.

i think i'm going back to trashing ya'll again. if you've seen some of my recent posts, you'll know what i'm talking about.

Think of it like a pyramid with tier 1 being at the top.

Gonna be a good game, but in the end we win another tough game against another high ranked team on the road. Our defensive speed, and schemes will be too much for Mallet. We gone be on him like white on rice.... LOL Les won't be the only one eating grass, Mallet will be all day long. Nevis destroys their OL, Sheppard's all over the field making big plays, and Peterson shuts down their #1 WR. Our OL will take over late in the game making holes for Ridley, and time for JJ to find one of our playmakers in space. Props to JJ for playing tough against Ole Miss.

You don't think that Nutty gets up for his game against us? After the Arkansas game this year, he was getting into it with Arkansas fans and holding up his fingers and screaming "two and one baby". That point is completely invalid.

As for your other points, you're right about pressure. IF you can regularly pressure Mallett AND contain the run, then you will stop us. However, as good as your front four is with Mathieu, Nevis, and company, that's going to remain a HUGE chore facing a well-balanced offense.

Also, while mobile QBs have been your kryptonite, OM and Auburn do NOT run the same scheme. Nutt runs most of his crap out of the I with the occasional shotgun formation. They do run an occasional zone read, but not nearly as much as Auburn, who runs it not nearly as much as Oregon does.
