You'd take the guy who's given up 94 points to a couple of four-loss Louisville teams the last 2 years? Over the guy that's scored 99 over Aggie in same timeframe?
Interesting.
I'd take the guy who is one of only 4 active coaches to have won a national title coaching at a school with unlimited resources over a guy who has been a career position coach and likely would've taken gumbo as his buyout, yes.
That said, buying stock is about expectation. A&M has been 8-4 recently. I think they'll improve that and will be 9-3 or 10-2 within a couple of years. LSU hasn't won the west since 2011 and I don't see that changing soon.

You sure as hell weren't saying the same thing when Miles was around were you? At least remain consistent.

Yes - we all know Jimbo is coming. So fricking what!!!
Jimbo won at Florida State due to Florida & Miami being down.
Florida State Recruiting Ranking:
2016 - #2
2015 - #3
2014 - #4
Florida Recruiting Ranking:
2016 - #14
2015 - #23
2014 - #8
Miami Recruiting Ranking:
2016 - #23
2015 - #26
2014 - #12
Now Jimbo has to compete with Texas, TCU, LSU, Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas Tech, and Arkansas for Texas players.
Hey Baw - You ain't winning shite without top 10 consistent recruiting classes, and you dreaming if you think A&M is gonna pull in top 5 recruiting.

So were Johnny Manziel and Kevin Sumlin, and LSU never lost to either of them. Bring him.

So, the same amount of time since LSU pussed out by taking their ball and running home by canceling the contract?
Has to be one of the all time douchebag moves. Fricking crybabies.

You don’t know how futures trading works. Not surprised actually.

We last lost to a&m in ‘94 I believe and didn’t play them again until 2011. So after beating them in 2011, that means we then had a 17 year win streak? Am I getting this right?

It doesn't matter who the leader is if the product continues to suck. A&M just hired a guy that had 4 straight top 5 recruiting classes and the product he put out on the field last year didn't meet expectations. That's always good news to investors.
Jimbo departed FSU because his product couldn’t compete in the ACC anymore.

In 1965, Bear Bryant won his 3rd MNC at Bama. The next 4 years, Bama went 8-2-1, 8-3, 6-5, and 6-5-1. Had he lost it? Was he washed up and passed by? Or, do real things like injuries and and the rise of new competitors that you have to adjust to have an affect on even the best coaches?
