Cardboardboxer is putting on a clinic on how to troll LSU

Um, Texas A&M fans have no business chiding anyone over strength of schedule.
LSU schedules (or tries to) a major conference opponent every season. Thats more than Texas A&M can say.
It wasn't too long ago that LSU played Oregon in Dallas and West Virginia on the road in the same season.
When was the last time Alabama went to a non conference top 25 opponent on the road?
And, they don't need a state law to do it either (See, Florida, University of). They just do it.
So, shut up.

1. Make a post disparaging LSU.
2. Wait for it...
3. Haul in catch.

Because I've seen LSU fans start the same thread.
Which doesn't make this not a troll thread or the OP not a troll.

It seems to be what a lot of LSU fans want.
And how exactly have you concluded that? Based on one thread you saw on the rant once? Based on the LSU fans in this thread who have supported the idea? You are completely talking out of your arse.

randomways, you are a good guy with genuinely interesting opinions about many SEC topics. As a Vandy fan you occupy a space that is a second party perspective in a way, which gives you an angle no other SEC fan has. Also your posts are fairly intelligent, which I appreciate on a personal level. Given all this I have a little hint for you I worked out years ago: If any paragraph has more than three sentences in it, LSU fans won't read it. Especially it you abstain from using emoticons or pictures and you stray towards preponderant words. I call this phenomenon the LSU fan filter. At first it seems annoying because this is an LSU forum you would think that such a restriction would block intelligent communication. Yet that is not the case, in fact it is actually a blessing because you can use the filter to communicate directly to fans of fellow SEC fans about issues and concepts that LSU fans would use as troll bait. I have successfully done this many times on this very forum, and I hope you can also benefit from this knowledge.

Please. Like you guys would not then whine about Texas.

If not for finances, this would be a no brainer for LSU. They would get the easy schedule and pat on the back they have always wanted.

Why doesnt LSU get any respect?
Because they whine and bitch about something every year. No one that matters takes them seriously while they rant about favoritism and conspiracy theories every year. They are the team that cried wolf.

I think he meant that LSU would whine about Texas.
Inevitably, any threat gets the "Nebraska treatment."

Why would we whine about Texas if LSU was in the Big 12?
Overall it would be bad for us if LSU left. We would lose a huge Thanksgiving Day rivalry game and the move would legitimize and stabilize the Big 12. But that would be LSU's decision, not Texas's.
If anything LSU would be whining about Texas getting easier schedules, extra seconds on the clock, favorable calls, and a higher-paying Tier 3 Network.

Exactly.

What state law would that be?

The one that mandates that Florida and Florida State play each other, because otherwise Florida would have dumped the Noles just like they dumped the Hurricanes.

Good lord. I was going to applaud you for a funny, if somewhat unfair, jab at the LSU fans here, but then I went back a page and saw WildTchoupitoulas' reply to me. Now I'm in a conundrum, a bind, if you will. Do I defend the honor of non-WildTchoupitoulas LSU fans, or do I just assume that WildTchoupitoulas (yes, I'm cutting and pasting the name every time) is representative, sui generis, of the entire fanbase? It's a puzzlement, but not one I need to resolve right now because I'm taking your advice to see if it holds true across multiple posts. After all, much like the white raven thought experiment, more data means greater confirmation. It's possible that you were confusing correlation with causation, after all, so I'm going to do the responsible thing and test it for myself. Now I will just type some random words and see if anyone notices: paraplegic; cabinet; somnambulist; porcine; corn dog; imbroglio; antelope; fifty-yard line; piss balloon; Go 'Dores; demimonde; LSU is not Big Six-worthy; and last, but not least, Cocoa Puffs.

being a somnambulist is no joking matter
