That should of been left off. I can't believe someone would actually put that on a ring.

IN 2011:
LSU only got 1, for SEC champs.
BAMA got 2, for winning BCSNC, one from BCS and one from school.
Win a title and you will learn my friend.
These are the 3 LSU national championships rings given to the players from the school.
This is the ring from the BCS, pretty much everyone champ gets one like this from the BCS.

Well, you can win you conference and not even be a top 10 team. It's an SEC championship ring, not a "we're number 2"/co championship ring. Like I said before, years from now when it's not a given that the SEC champion is playing in the national championship game, it will acknowledge that they were not just conference champions, but that they were a top team as well.
The #2 is a footnote on the ring, not what the ring is celebrating. Yall are reaching with this one. :SECchamps:

I think they are ugly anyway. Putting that on one side, the BCS logo on the other, and having it ugly as sin... maybe da hatter is using it as motivation to get the pretty rings.

I'm darn proud of 13-1 and SEC Champions. Yea, we finished 2nd nationally --which is also a fine accomplishment but not something to engrave.SEC Champions is plenty to have a ring for.
