How many of those did you watch?
They lost 2/3 to Indiana and Indiana is not good at all. Missouri isn’t that good either. Arkansas looks overrated so far they could barely beat grambling and lost one to eastern Illinois. LSU is supposed to be the #1 team (I still think y’all probably are). Texas is not and shouldn’t even be ranked. It should never have been this close. There is a reason the line moved from -120 to -200 in a single day. Everybody hammered LSU cause they have looked like the WAY better team this year. Seemed like they played down to texas today or texas finally looked good. I don’t expect them to keep it up.
My buddy is the biggest UT baseball fan ever and he’s on suicide watch with how this year is turning out.

Seems like a common tactic, if the opponent plays you close then try to boost them up so it makes your win look better. Only problem is I’ve been watching UT all year and it ain’t fooling me. Props for being an honest tiger fan.
LSU is a great team. Austin is a hard place to play, there were TONS of fans, and UTs pitcher looked amazing. It was a solid win and LSU deserved it. If LSU had lost this game it wouldn’t change my opinion of them, they are still probably the best team and my personal choice to win the championship. Just like bama in basketball.

They are somewhere between trash and pretty good. I highly doubt they will end up a 2 or 3rd seed but we’ll see I guess.

1. LSU doesn’t need to prop up the win. It was on the road against a solid program, and LSU is already #1.
2. He’s not an LSU fan. He’s an aggy.
3. Pointing out that Texas isn’t terrible isn’t propping up the win. It’s just pointing out that they aren’t terrible.

So my position has been that they aren’t a bad team? Glad you’ve caught on.
Also, Texas is one of the best baseball programs of all time, they just aren’t a great team this year.

Point is, you keep moving the goal post. They are not one of the better teams this year like our Mississippi state friend claimed. UNC, duke, and Kentucky are not one of the better basketball teams this year. It doesn’t matter how good Texas is historically. It doesn’t matter how good duke or Kentucky are historically. They are not one of the best programs this year. Case closed.
