Fair enough. I was going off of what the announcers were saying(should know better than that )

Either way.....the guy I responded to acted as if they just didn't want to play their starting RB. It wasn't a choice that was given. That's a roster issue if you don't have another solid RB.

You responded to me. We didn’t play our 1,2 ranked RB on depth chart until we got touches for 3,4. That was the point I was making.

Ok I’ll discuss the schedule. We will most likely go 9-3 and miss the playoff. I think we beat Ole Miss, lose to Arky or A&M, and split Bama and OU.

We lost a game to USC we shouldn’t have. I don’t know if I would quantify that as “down”.

Did you not watch the Nicholls game?

Our 1st string running back only got a few snaps in the 4th quarter but some LSU fans are still crying about running up the score.

And once again…..your first string RB blew his ACL days before the game. You’re making it seem as if you held back a stud 1st string running. I think it’s a safe assumption(but you’re free to correct me and I’ll take your word for it) that the drop off from Emery to the 2nd string qb is much bigger than the drop off between him and the next guy.

The 2nd and 3rd string running backs should not have a problem getting more than 3 yards per rush against an FCS team.

I’ve said you’re an 8 win team since before the season started so swap the OM outcome for me.

You need to ask yourself what was the real reason for running away from Nicholls State in the 4th quarter? Was it because NSU just doesn’t have the depth and their starters ran out of steam(very common thing to happen) or was 4th quarter NSU just as fresh as the first 3 quarters and LSU’s offense finally figured out who they were late in the game?

Both reasons are a possibility…..but one is FAR more likely than the other.

The OM 1st string RB hasn't touched the ball much this year either.

I don't have a problem saying Ole Miss has a great team. Probably their best in years.

I expect a very fun game in TS. It's always an interesting match up when Lane pays a visit. Very much looking forward to our Reb friends coming to town.....

That would be a negative 189yds on 21 attempts with you as a RB.

Correct. He only got a few touches towards the end of the game on Saturday which helped the other RBs get reps.

But people here are stupid and get their sports information from other people on here that are stupid.
