Well, it's blatantly obvious some LSU fans aren't over 1/9 yet. They'll get there, give them time. We both have every reason to be excited for the 2012 season

It's always hard losing the last game of the season. If you lose a few but win the bowl, then at least you end the season on a high note. Having all offseason to think about a loss sucks, especially when you can't stay off message boards. People love to rub salt in a wound when they can hide behind a monitor. People on the internet and behind the wheel of a car turn into tough guys.

Wrong. Weren't even the best team in the west. But don't let facts get in your way.

To LsuMD

Here's to a war in november...i've said on here before that 1/9 was the anomaly in the series recently, they are usually nailbiters to the end.

Jackasses like asteRICK are what gives LSU fans a bad name, and I guess it isn't fair of us to group you all into the excuse making didn't deserve to be there still butthurt category.

But asteRICK isn't the only one, there are many many many LSU posters on this board that haven't gotten over that one, and maybe never will. The logical ones that have come to terms and accepted what happened are outnumbered by the "we were still the best in the west, look at 11/5" crowd

Good god the irony. LSU has dominated te gumps recently. IT'S CALLED FACTS count. try to use them rather than ," we are gunts and marry our sister and shite"

I'd pop a vicodin, take a shot of bourbon, and watch some cartoons. Its the weekend... you'll be ok.

i love how people love to throw out stats vs bama that include the shula/probabtion dark ages.

Hey how about don't have major violations. I am looking forward to Bama vacating these great runs. Every time Bama starts winning they vacate wins or go on probation. 92 won te title and went straight on probation. 99 won sec went straight on prob.

To be fair y'all have your share of shitty fans as we all do. It's what message boards attract.

On the bright side at least we have good teams. Imagine being Notre Dame or Michigan with all of the bluster and a decade of pooping the bed.

The difference being Bama lost the best part of its defense. It's defense is powered by linebackers and safeties who can over and help the run. You lost 3/4 linebackers and Basically your entire secondary. LSU returns the part of its defense that is great. Dline and tm7 and Reid. That's the diff. And to the poster who said LSU won't have any offense. What exactly is Bama gonna do without trich. You know the only reason you state close to LSU on nov 5th

I thought the reason the game was close is that neither team could score. It usually makes for a tight one!

You have not had any offensive game changers in the last 4 to 5 yrs. Miles offensive recruiting has been sub par.

You just keep rolling out dumb shite. Rueban randle had more TDs catchs than your entire wr corp Combined in 2011 and ate bama the frick up in 2010.

I don't really see why all these threads pop up. Just like every year, LSU and Alabama will be a very close matchup. The national title game was really the only game that was lopsided and the QB play was the reason. Jefferson's performance was way outside of the norm for these two teams and honestly so was McCarron's. You're matching up two teams with great defense and offensive line play. Games like that can go any direction much like an NFL game.

CLEARLY THE BEST POST IN THIS FLAME FEST.

Now we're actually talking football instead of whining. Atta boy...although this post is full of propaganda.

For starters, alabama returns 3 linebackers in nico johnson (senior) CJ mosley (you remember him) and trey depriest (sophomore) that all logged a pile of snaps and all have a pile of talent.

Secondly, the loss of brockers shouldn't be estimated, and a large part of what made tm7 and reid so good was that they didn't have to worry about half the field with mo claiborne. He is gone.

What will alabama do without Trich? The same thing they did with glen coffee and mark ingram, run the ball down peoples throat behind 2, potentially 3 first round draft picks on the o-line in next years draft.

Na man I'm over Jan9th I was on jan 10. Why would I let a game played by kids a decade younger than me upset me. All
I've done is say OsU resume was better than Bama's. Which it was.

Which had what to do with the thread title? That's literally all you've been arguing about is that....or randomly bring up basketball and how many more elite 8s and final 4 appearances LSU has than Bama.
