You're a year off.

And I don't know anyone personally, that hit on 14 year olds when they were seniors and 19.

I think he'll be suspended for awhile and reinstated after it works itself out like JJ was last year, just my opinion

My opinion also.

Oh and his probation should be over. Sentenced to 2 years probation in January of 2011.

Hunter linked it earlier. His probation began 1/12

The sexual battery incident happened in Dec. 2010. He was sentenced in jan 2011 to avoid jail time

I don't think he was 19 at that time.

La newspapers are wrong, then, if that's the case.

I am sure this whole incident can be tied back to the REC.

I mean really how much would it cost to get this done? peanuts, literally.

You're right. I got the date when he was arrested ( jan 2011) mixed up with the plea deal with the judge ( Jan 6 2012).

You're clearly from another planet if this is really the case.

Okay. Dammit.

But in my defense I didn't have what was a sure million dollar contract waiting around the bend, either.

It would just be a shame to see all that talent get thrown in the garbage due to stupidity. But I guess you never know. Remember "Cecil The Diesel"....That remains one of the best examples of a great athlete whose POS ways helped throw it all away....

(But you're correct about me at that age. TOTAL jackass. Not criminal- yet heavily burdened with jackassedness. )

Ain't that the fricking truth.

I hope that if Hill did do this that he uses this as the FINAL wake up call to get his shite straight and not let it ruin his future.

If he didn't do it, I hope the truth comes out.

I want Alabama to beat every team on it's schedule but I want the opposition to be at full strength - winning over a team at less than 100% isn't as much fun.

Except Auburn. That bunch can all get arrested and suspended. We'll just let our cheerleaders whip their arse in powder puff or something.

I was, but so were you.

He wasn't 19 at the time and if you don't know of anyone that hooked up with freshmen when they were seniors in HS, you were homeschooled and knew no one else.

Just because you are sentenced to two years probation doesn't mean you will serve the full two years. Have a friend who was sentenced to 5 years and only did six months

You are correct, but not in the way you think you are. You can petition the court to lift probation before the term is up.

Here is where the confusion comes in. Was he sentenced to serve 5 years or given 5 years probation?

5 years probation and only served 6 months. When he went back to court the judge let him off and told him he had completed the terms of his probation and told him he could get it ex sponged under Statute 894

I feel pretty confident that if Mr. Hill had been released from his probation...some of the issues present in this matter now would not be bubbling up.

Expunged, unless you meant that the judge offered him a bubble bath.
