I was just reading a nola.com article about it. Buga nation and all that.
Let me talk in general terms here because I'm not singling LF or any other recruit out.
It sort of reiterated the point that highly touted recruits (and not just LSU's either) are grotesquely overindulged in the media these days. They become superstars and form little cults of personality before they ever set foot onto a college field to earn it.
That's all fine and well, but what happens if said hypothetical recruit is a bust? They get built up so high that reality is potentially a long way down if they don't make it. I hate to think what that would do to the ego of an 18-20 year old.

I agree.Not to mention the possibility that they could have a career ending injury early on.

Yeah, and that would be far more tragic. I think the talent these kids have is being taken for granted.

ULM is no Wisconsin, they're probably not even as good as Sam Houston. 2 years ago they got destroyed by OHIO in the Indy bowl.

Well they did beat an ACC team this year (Wake Forest)
