LSU's starting OGs and OTs consisted of two true freshmen, a soph and a jr. These four guys had a combined 13 starts to their credit going into the game. LT was making his third start and RT was making his first career start.

I think they had a VERY GOOD showing considering what the perception was nationally of the auburn front seven. That steele curtain and all.

Outside of Jetsweeps again, LSU did almost nothing on the ground. They are definitely improving but it wasn’t a good game by the OL.

10 points came from special teams where the offense did almost nothing.

Pass protection was much better yesterday against a very good Auburn front 7.

It really is tough to have an offense at all with a line like that. That bog down any offense. Period.

Pass protection was okay. They didn't lose the game for us but we weren't exactly running it down their throats.

considering their level of experience and the fact we were able to move the chains and score points is pretty good in my book.

Auburn defense only allowed 17 points....Which would have been enough to win, if not for special teams and an inadequate offensive playbook/playcaller...
