The question is why do you lie, or deny. And yes, of course Orgeron is going to deny it (you have that in common) to try to save his job.

Cool, this part didn't happen:

A central point is that a freshman football player told 0 his girlfriend had been raped

The woman’s boyfriend at the time, an LSU football recruit, wasn’t at the party. He said the woman told him afterward about the alleged assault and her conversation with the nurse. His description matched that of the woman’s.
The former boyfriend redshirted his freshman year and said he steered clear of Guice because “I probably would have lost my (expletive) on him.” He said LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron brought up the subject of his then-girlfriend and Guice about a year after the alleged assault, telling the athlete he shouldn’t be bothered by it.
“(Orgeron) said, ‘Everybody’s girlfriend sleeps with other people,’ ” the former player told USA TODAY.
The former player said he doesn’t know how Orgeron knew what happened, but he believes the coach knew it was not consensual.
“I lost all respect for him,” the player said.
Orgeron did not respond to a request for comment.

When did the player inform him the encounter wasn't consensual?

Not to mention that this is just the version of the story from a player that couldn't cut it on O's team.
It's all bullshite, but the gumps will eat it up, because it's not good enough for Alabama to win games, they need LSU to fall apart to feel better about themselves.
Just look at all the shite they post on this board.

In ‘small gubment’ lingo these are handouts.

working at least 2 jobs my entire 5 years in college
This is not possible anymore even at public institutions these days. The tuition is too high.
The other kicker here: you probably went to a public university, which means all of your hard work would have amounted to nothing in your fairy tale “small gubment” society where no public school existed. Your two jobs would have never put you through a private university without massive student loans in today’s world.

America works when people aren't too lazy and/or too busy being victims to put in the work.
You seem to fall in the common logical trap of using your one outdated personal story to make a political assessment for our entire diverse country. That’s not “thinking for yourself”, it’s just being lazy.

I don’t use Twitter, but nice that you are using a straw man argument here.

I’m not the one using a shite ton of logical fallacies. Did they not teach discrete math in your engineering curriculum?

Accuses me of living in an echo chamber when you’re the one getting bent out of shape because you’ve been exposed to a conflicting worldview - classic modern southerner.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard these words in situations like this where there’s a lot of smoke.
It’s rare that what you said ends up being true.

The reality is LSU is Baylor. The internal personnel at LSU did such a terrible job of investigating accusations throughout both the school and the AD that the Feds are here to clean up the mess. Clearly the University cannot be trusted to do anything in the interest of the victims.
This is just the start for some messy press at LSU.

No, the smoke is the multiple investigations that got kicked off due to a former player that was never kicked off the team.
It’s certainly possible the LSU admin buried the whole thing without Ed knowing, but I don’t think that’s very likely

They’re done. Start the list of replacement candidates.

Judging from the accusations, its not clear that anyone besides the Title IX office, diving coach, and tennis coaches knew anything about the Guice situation so it doesnt seem to be a major coverup within the administration.
Since O wasn't even the head coach at the time, its somewhat irresponsible to assume that he would've known.

We don’t need it to happen, but we sure have and will enjoy watching the collapse. It’s really awful that it comes at the expense of some innocent victims who are women, cancer patients, and young athletes who look up to the sleazeball coaches and administrators at that godforsaken, scandal plagued university.

PSU did not get loss of accreditation so I doubt LSU will either
