It is requiring the federally supported institution to act appropriately to ensure systems are in place to promote a healthy atmosphere for those using its services. Part of that is timely investigations of complaints and holding people accountable for actions. It is still a criminal matter, but the institution holds the responsibility to act as well to investigate facts and determine if a person needs to be seperated or dismissed due to a lack of compliance with University codes of conduct and local/federal laws.
Hot take: Universities don't like to acknowledge violent crime/assaults as it is bad for business. That coupled with youth, hormones, drugs, alcohol and first time freedoms creates a fertile ground for sexual assault followed by victim blaming/shaming, marginalization and potential cover up.
Universities need to be held more accountable on this, and its laughable to think LSU is alone here.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but SidewalkMoron here has made the braindead argument that “it’s not clear he was talking about money” with regard the “rookie minimum” conversation. That’s what I take issue with.

To be clear Wade and the assault allegations are two different things.
Wade is just classic dumbass LSU.
The assault allegations are awful and need to be blown up so we can actually get some change where universities actually have some semblance of accountability.
I’m sure my own school’s shitty AD has some skeletons too, and I want that to stop.
