Their QB/Receivers looked awesome against that Big XII defense.
This was a back and forth game with little defense being played.
LSU will contend for the west.
Not sold on them scoring 40+ against SEC defenses.
Who knows.
But good win!

Don’t forget our defense only had a bad half, not a bad game. We dominated in the first two quarters. Adjustments by the Texas O or complacency led to the second half shitshow.

As much as a certain fanbase will down vote the post, it's a fair point.
Burrow had four game last year where he threw for more than 270 yards. Everyone of the defenses save UCF, was ranked near the bottom nationally in passing defense. UCF was in the the thirties, but likely much lower vs. a power 5 schedule.
If you are wondering, last year Texas ranked 72nd in yards per pass attempt on defense. They only returned 4 starters from that D and lost both corners.

The legendary Dave Aranda coaches his players to flop all over the field like faggy european soccer players because they aren't conditioned well enough to handle any sort of tempo? That's the reality here that you're all ignoring.

I feel a lot better today after that big win last night. I feel light and very forgiving and not wanting to be an arse to other fans but I still think Auburn finishes 3rd or 4th place in SECW. You know you guys would have been ecstatic to do what we did to Texas last night, so just relax man.

If you'll remember even Bama's great defenses gave up a lot of points to A&M and other Big 12 teams. That's not anything unknown. You play these games like an MLB pitcher goes to Denver knowing he will give up some runs. Even Maddux and Glavine knew they would give up some runs but still win the game. That's the whole point, score more than your opponent. These type of offenses are not always going to be shut down even by the best defenses.

Bama doesn't flop all over the field with fake cramps like euro-figs. The entire country saw you do it over and over again last night because you have a BIG XII defense that can't handle tempo and they're coached to do that by Aranda.
