But, LSUs opponents average more wins than bamas. so I think we've played an equally tough schedule. Both LSU and bama are good enough to win the title this year.

I understand that. Which is why in my original statement I mentioned that even though this is an LSU site, I generally thought Aggies were the worst.
Most of the time everyone here knows that Arkansas fans don't really mean what they post. Same with Tennessee, and MSU to some extent. But Aggies truly believe they are the best team in the SEC year after year.
However, as of right now, a majority of LSU fans on here actually believe some of these statements. And if they don't, they're sure as hell trying hard to convince themselves.
And that is the basis for insecurity. If you failed at something four times, and you know you have to do it a fifth, the best way to shadow the fear and the doubt is to overwhelm it with massive, unsustainable and factually inaccurate hubris.
Hence my statement is correct at this moment. LSU has the most insecure fanbase as of right now.
