This statement proves just how uneducated Arky fans really are. There are only a handful of self-sustaining Athletic programs in the country, so yeah it is kinda special

He will do well there.

Lmao
Only 7 programs in the country do not take money from academics. Only 2 programs in the entire country actually provide a check to their school for a net profit to the school.
So you answer here is TWO.

I have never heard of this African themed person. But you guys seem happy, so congrats!

People on the LSU boards have been begging for this guy for years. I don't know much about him other than everyone had been wanting him to go to LSU.

Sorry if facts make you laugh. What I posted was a fact.
Just 7 programs are entirely self sufficient. Of those 7 only 2 write a check back to the school. Fwiw there are other schools that are very profitable but take money from their school. Alabama took 6 million last year from school funds. LSU takes nothing from the school budget.

Isn't it funny we're so poor yet we are still hauling in the best coaches in the nation for some reason?

LSU football is far from poor.

If I remember correctly, LSU and Nebraska were the only two schools who wrote net profit checks back to their university last year. I wouldn't be surprised if LSU writes an extra large one this year to help out our school.

LSU and Ohio State write checks back.

Bama netted 47 million in 2014. Can't imagine that changed last season.
