I’ve been to every UK home game against LSU since 1984.

My wife and I were at the 1991 game (the only JP game to ever start at 2:30. She wasn't ,nor is now, much of a basketball fan. The game that day happened to be UK's "Midnight Madness" game later that day. We were riding around the campus and she notices a huge crowd gathered around Memorial Coliseum. She started asking " I wonder what group is there, concert, etc.?" I tried to explain to her what Midnight Madness was and what it meant to the UK fans and students. She didn't believe me and told me I was crazy.

Whoever that LSU coach was back in '02 must've been mediocre to barely beat a historically downtrodden program like Kentucky. How dare he!

Kentucky and LSU are 3-3 in Lexington since 1997. Kentucky has not won in Baton Rouge since 1998 and has lost every game by at least 28 points in that span. In four games in Baton Rouge, Kentucky has scored a total of 10 points, while losing by an average of 37 ppg.

Well, it’s a good thing the game isn’t being played in Baton Rouge.
