Both teams have a season high score of 197.825
LSU also beat Alabama in the regular season in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Alabama finished higher than LSU in the SEC Championship all three years. Fun fact, LSU hasn't won the SEC in gymnastics since 1981, the first year the league sponsored the sport.

Yeah for anyone who cares wins and losses don't matter in gymnastics until the post season where Alabama mostly finishes higher than LSU.
Wins and losses in the post season wins or loses championships. While the regular season is basically a 3 month seeding contest.
Alabama's been a post season team for 30 years which is why they average a SEC or national championship every 3 years. And LSU...hasn't. DD was always 2nd fiddle to Sarah and Suzanne who built the sport and why they have a 30 for 30 about them. It's only fitting LSU is finally getting a little attention once they retired. Still no championships though.
