By a few plays you mean jet sweeps and reverse jet sweeps?

I don't think the OP has any knowledge tbh...

Objectively, this game is never in doubt

LSU will get punched out

FIFY

There's no doubt that LSU has some young talent on their current team but they don't appear to be well coached. Auburn's stout defense will be more than enough to stifle LSU's disheveled offense and Auburn's offense will score more than enough to win the game. I like Auburn by at least 2 TD's.

I have no idea why many on this board and on the rant feel LSU will even keep this game close. We will likely be starting 3 true freshmen on the O-Line and are still missing quite a bit of depth on defense. I can spit a grape farther than Etling can throw the ball, and our best RB isn't at 100%. Unless Auburn completely melts down, LSU is gonna lose and it shouldn't be close.

I love the confidence of the Aubbies.... hope your team thinks it will be that easy too. Our DL will hold up fine, but the OL unfortunately will be the difference in the game. They are just too young. That said look for Canada to find creative ways to try and confuse that DL any way he can..If we can somehow muster up a couple drives and force a couple TO's....could be a very interesting game.

They prob don't. Fans being arrogant/confident does not necessarily reflect the attitude of the team. Why does it matter how fans act? It's important that the players take it seriously.

Auburn might have the best run defense in the country (UGA, Clemson, Bama, UM and AU are all elite IMO), LSU has three freshman on the OL and Etling at QB and you think they pull this off?

AU wins convincingly.

1999 since y'all fools last won here and I'm pretty sure y'all brought in some pretty good teams during that time period

Why do LSU fans continually believe that these type stats matter in current games.?

I'm in the "talk to me after the game" camp. I know what's supposed to happen, but I've also seen Gus fold the gameplan into a paper airplane, so I'm not gonna potentially embarrass myself with any premature smack talk

You want to believe soooo bad. If you come to terms now, it'll be easier for you when AU kills ya

I love when people post trends in college football spanning nearly 20 years when almost the entire roster changes completely every 2-3 seasons. How many of those LSU wins were quarterbacked by Danny Etling? You guys beat us last year without scoring a touchdown and we had 13 total points.

If LSU wins it will not be by scoring more than 20 points. It will be Auburn's O being shut down kinda like the Clemson game.

I wouldn't say that. It's still in Baton Rouge. Wouldn't be that big of an upset if LSU won. Theyre a 5 point dog at home.
