The four most recent have all been at the hands of Alabama:

2024: 42-13
2020: 55-17
2018: 29-0
2002: 31-0

This from ESPN.

That's less than I thought. I feel like we get dunked on more than ever with Brian Kelly.

It must suck for all these other schools to not be able to win a national championship.

Spurrier probably accounts for the next 4.

I mean 28 points is a really bad loss. I know the 22 Tennessee game was bad but can’t really think of many other blowout home losses

Alabama has beaten LSU by 28+ in 3 of the last 4 games in Baton Rouge.

Wow.

It wasn't that bad of a blowout, apparently...since it was only by 27 points.

Problem is consistency. Right now it's every 4-5 years LSU makes noise. And in between its ...this

Quickly going through season records on the lsu website, here are the other times it's happened 1960-2001

Florida 2001
Auburn 1999
Florida 1993
Miami 1988
Tulane 1981
A&M 1975
Miami 1968

It would take some more time to find the 5 other times it's happened. Expected there to have been more from 1989-1999

No. Think y’all average three losses a year with Kelly since he’s been there if I’m not mistaken. Too many to make playoffs but not enough to be a bad football team. LSUs problem is their golden years just so happened to coincide NS arrival to Alabama. It’s really just bad luck in a way.
