Lets not defend ourselves or bring up the tragic Death. If Hogs want to use it as a crutch or say it made what happen at the game worse then let them but please refrain from using "the dead player" excuse.

Just curious. Have there been many Hog fans come on this board and say anything like, 'We lost because of the death?'
Most of us have just said, 'Good game. You guys whooped us.'
In fact, the only ones so far that I've even seen mention the death...are LSU fans...hoping some Hog fan WILL whine about it.
Your team is better than ours this year. Just enjoy it already.

im not flaming, but a few have said it added to BP's hissy fit at the end of the game. I just dont want my fans even slightly associating it with the GAME of football.

At least Arky actually had one of their players die and I would expect it to have some effect. OSU had the female basketball coach expire and I heard Barhart say today that voters should take that into account for their loss.

A Hog started a thread calling Miles a POS and tried to tie it to this. It was at 6 pages about an hour after the game and mysteriously disappeared. I guess the admins zapped it.

Just in case I missed something, I went to Jon Ham's profile and looked at his posts from today. After two pages of them, I couldn't find one single mention of the death.
So...you are fully and consumately...wrong.
And it bothers me. There's threads on here about Hog fans making excuses about the death. We're not. You just SAY we are. Almost exclusively, WE are admitting you whoooped us.
There's threads on here about how WE are whining about taking a knee. But we're not. YOU are whining that our coach got mad. WE wish he hadn't, but he was just mad (probably at getting his butt whooped...and I LIKE his competitive spirit).
There's threads on here saying we've been bragging about our defense. But we haven't. Not here or on Hogville. YOU...have been whining about us saying that. WE...thought our offense would be equal to your defense. We were wrong.
You guys need to open another beer...grab your women...and enjoy your victory. I don't see anyone stopping you from Crystal this year.

I saw several post by arky fans that mentioned it directly or indirectly, i also saw LSU fans "assuming" thats what was ment. just bothered me to see it no matter WHO posted it!

FWIW, if Hog fans WERE posting threads about the death...it would bother me too.
But if the admins ARE removing THOSE threads and not the threads where Tiger fans are complaining about it...that's still lopsided.
Either way, let's just enjoy our seasons. You're going for Crystal...and we had a 10-2 year, which is light years better than we've BEEN doing in years past.

You need to do your homework better.
In the first link, 'latarian' is cautioning Hog fans NOT to bring up the death.
In the second link, you DO have a Hog fan stirring up trouble.
In the third link, you have a Hog fan answering a Tiger fan's question as to why Petrino was mad. But the Hog fan was responding, not initiating.
So you've got one out three...and the others prove my point.
Why...are we still arguing about this? It isn't enough for you guys that you didn't JUST win...you crushed us?
Again...shouldn't you be out celebrating somewhere?

Nah, a few posters are using it as an excuse for why Petrino was flipping his shite. Saying Petrino had a right to be mad at LSU/Les for running it up on his tragedy-struck team.
They are probably outlier fans and not a good representation of the fanbase as a whole.
