I can't stop laughing at the fact that someone on here posted that LSU was "an embarresment" to the SEC b/c fans left early.
If I'm not mistaken LSU, along with Florida, has carried the SEC banner on a national level for the past decade. And this isn't exclusive to football.
Fans leaving early in a close game is retarded, but really?
Agreed. LSU and FLA have been the banner carriers for the SEC and for that matter college football. That said, the context of the thread has little to do with what LSU has accomplished, but rather that LSU fans are a fickle sort who for some reason abandon fabled Death Valley over a little bit of rain. You can't claim one of the most feared stadiums on a Sat night and at the same time bail over a little rain at the half on your SEC opener in a close game. Can't have it both ways. You can't spin it.

so is the rant busy making excuses for why it took a shite ton of luck to beat vandy?

This coming from a 'Bama fan is the de facto, textbook definition of irony.

we brought 50,000 fans up to t-town in 07 and your fans were freaking out that we would take over the stadium. the bammer message boards were begging people not to scalp tickets to us so we wouldnt take over your stadium. thats pathetic

Actually there is a debate on if Lee should start to give LSU a vertical passing game.
There is also a thread wanting Williams to start, and I started one taking bets on Jefferson first 200 yard game.

Yes, but are you stupid?

Well yeah, they need to open it up. LSU is a team filled with tall, fast, recievers who were all 4* or 5* in high school. Yet they keep throwin screens and 5 yard patterns.
Frustrating and weather is just another excuse for play that I have read tonight.

since we are averaging 4.7 ypc our oline isn't a concern to the rant. My drunk typo is a bigger concern than ciron making another mental mistake tonight and just struggling all night.

Well, I was at that game in 07, and I know that LSU traveled well as they always do. But I don't think that 50,000 actually made it to BDS. I do think that 50,000 left TS at halftime tonight.

Read Doc's thread, it is one of most racist post I have seen. BT, Sam, Offdacorner, Doc, Stache going at it.

I hear what you are saying, but in the context of your post you mention the claim of one of the most feared stadiums on Saturday night. I consider the record to be a better indicator of this than what a crowd does on a rainy night. 20 in a row on Saturday night, so say what you want about the fans, the record proves something right is going on.

yea id prob give uga the edge bc they are at home. I get called negative for being a realist but our d showed some improvement but not alot. Vandy was dropping shite left and right and im talking wide open bc our dbs were trailing them.
Posted on 9/13/09 at 12:40 am to heartbreakTiger
They rushed for 122 yards and 3.1 YPC as a team, yet their 2 actual RB's ran for 124 and 5 YPC and someone told me I was a negatiger for not being happy about our run defense.

yep its all ok in tigerland bc we won. If you dont agree and you point to anything we did wrong you expect us to win by 80 every time and you dont remember the 90s. Never mind who we are playing and that we still aren't tackling well or blocking well.
