applebee's makes Galatoire's look like McDonald's.

No doubt, we only wish they had a badass 72,000 seat stadium with box suites and fine wine...and lights!
The most intimidating thing is when all 72,000 get the jazz hands going.
Again, looking forward to game and evening up the record in Fayatteville.

For LSU fans?
AQ Chicken and the cowboy would be my recommendation for you.
Sites are covered by being allowed on our campus.

just go to Dickson Street.
I'd try and time your drive so you come in to Fayetteville (assuming you are coming from the south on 540) during the day, the scenery is awesome in the fall and the city looks bad arse. It's my favorite part of coming in for games in the fall.

When I was 21, I would have liked living in New Orleans. Now, I wouldn't live there unless I was very wealthy, and even then, I'd most likely pick somewhere else if I had the kind of money to enjoy living in N.O.
New Orleans is a visiting town, in my mind. Great food, architecture, unique culture, but I'd never put my roots there.
The same way Dallas would be great if you were very wealthy or gay, but if I was wealthy or gay, I'd probably not want to be in Dallas at all.
For an middle to upper middle class person like myself, Fayetteville is fine. Its mostly southern without being a shithole. Sure, I might enjoy living in Fort Collins or Raleigh just as much, for different reasons, but I get some outdoors, with college football, good, positive college-town vibe that I compare to how Austin used to feel, or how I feel in Fort Collins, or in Portland when I visit. Similar, but also southern.
Anyway, I don't have to explain myslf. The OP was just trying to get a rise out of LSU fans.
Score.

that is because you associate everything in New Orleans with one neighborhood which is what most people do.
