Outside of 2001-2012 they have been a traditional mid-tier and lower program.

I was never under any illusions that Ogre could run an SEC program, and even I am shocked at how quickly he totally dismantled a competitive program and destroyed it. Total incompetence.

LSU fans are the only fans that I hear who constantly refer to their team as a "product."
"Put a good product on the field and we'll stay for the whole game!"
They treat their team like a TV show that they justify not watching anymore because the writing dropped off after the first few seasons. Pathetic fan base IMHO.
