LSU fans need to understand the reality of this storm

They don't want to travel for their regularly scheduled away game at the Swamp
They say: It's not safe for fans and players!
Reality: When game time rolls around, there's a 20% chance of rain and the storm will be up in South Carolina
They say: Florida wants the game cancelled!
Reality: Florida doesn't want to play 3 straight years in Baton Rouge. Who would? And why would you cancel a game when there's a 20% chance of rain on Gameday?
They say: The damage is going to be so bad after the game, power is going to be out, roads blocked, etc.
Reality: Gainesville is outside of the cone of the storm. They will certainly get bands of this and strong wind, but Gainesville is far enough away to not be at risk of major damage to campus.
They say: There's a category 4 hurricane headed directly at Gainesville!!!
Reality: The storm is straddling off the coast, and the worst of it is going to hit the Miami area and the Jacksonville/South Georgia area. Again, there will be rain and tropical storm winds in Gainesville, but nothing severe enough to cause major damage.
LSU fans need to realize that Florida understands how to handle big storms. We get that Katrina was a horrible disaster, but Florida is prepared and understands how to handle storms like this.
In this day and age, there's no way that a University would allow a game to happen if there was a real threat to the immediate safety of the players and fans. When the 90,000 people are in the Swamp on Saturday, the fans and players are not going to be at any risk of being killed by a hurricane, because it's going to be well up the east coast into South Carolina.
So relax, the State of Florida knows how to handle this. Don't get rustled, everything will be okay. We'll see you bitches in Gainesville on Saturday

Why not play it in Tampa.
Give an honest answer.

I'm still coming and I'm still pumped. I'm the conductor of the reality pain train.

Nothing personal, but I've been to a game in Gainesville and it kind of sucks, hurricane or no hurricane.

Y'all are so fricked no matter when this game is played.

Why is class canceled on Friday?

It doesn't matter where the game is played, LSU will be making it an easy 4 years in a row against florida.

you know the cone represents the eye of the storm, right?

Because Miami-FSU is going to be in Tampa now, from what I understand

The reality of this storm is that you are getting so thoroughly dismantled on Saturday that you will wish it was worse.

I'm expecting Gainesville to have no damage and a full crowd.

LSU fans have a lot of confidence after beating a shitty Missouri team.
Didn't y'all just get beat by Auburn?

Didn't yall just escape Vandy?
We're going to beat the shite out of you. Deal with it.
3-0, soon to be 4-0.

If they move it, why can't we? LSU fans are just worried about it getting cancelled and we see not contingency plan to avoid that. No Plan B.. That's what gives off the nefarious vibe.

What Florida doesn't understand, we don't care if the game is in Florida, Baton Rouge, or friking London.. We just want the game to be played!! The biggest concern is that it will end up getting cancelled due to poor leadership when they had time to get the game moved!
