What does a long season have to do with every coach in the country picking Corral over Brennan/Johnson if given the opportunity?

Brennan's career at LSU is already over. He's transferring to Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss in the spring.
Johnson had a killer game against Central Michigan last week. As he hit on over 74 percent of his passes, had five touchdown passes, and almost 400 passing yards.
