We could literally clone Saban at 50 years old, sign him to a 20 year contract and half the fan base would melt the frick down because he’s too old and not an offensive minded coach.
Whoever is hired, there will be fireworks no doubt.

It’s not like we’re that far off. This is our worst team in 20 years at least and we lost in ot to Arkansas to Alabama by 6 , easily could have beat auburn.
The talent is still pretty good and the recruiting is good when we get a new coach . We still have the number one qb committed.
That’s absurd to act like we have no talent or possibility to be back in the hunt. Just look at recent history. Usually we win 9 or 10 games

Brian Kelly is a great coach , hell I think someone on the cc board actually said that Napier would be a better hire, which is absolutely ridiculous

Celebrating Riley isn’t the issue I’m addressing it could have been awesome hire. Celebrating Riley while calling Kelly a bad coach is laughably stupid though.

I never said they were, but I also never claimed we were getting Kelly. If 2021 taught me anything about coaching searches after the baseball season, it's that speculation is useless until an announcement.
