re: LSU fans - does it concern you that UGA is more tested at this point?

tested or not, it's UGA. They are top 10, it's at their house, and they are capable of scoring 40 points. Any team in the country should be worried in this situation.

LSU leads the conference in drops don't they...

ODB and Landry are great... Just gotta catch the football.

LSU will abuse those UGA freshmen DB's.

Georgia and LSU WR's are equal but Georgia's DB's are young. It will be a battle of which team gives up big plays and the turnover battle that wins the game. Heck Georgia even has the fastest receiver in the game on Saturday Juston Scott Wesley ran a 10.3 100 meters in track and has a 4.38 40 time.

You can't tell them that. They don't see it.

Its been pretty common knowledge by the national media that OBJ/Landry is the best 1/2 punch in college football

Nah, Georgia concerns me because of its offense. I'd feel that way whether they played their actual schedule or a bunch of directional schools. I don't think either team will run away with this one. It'll be a touchdown margin or less, IMO.

Have you watched any of LSU's games?

Lol no. We've seen Georgia's playbook. They've only seen the first page of Cam's.

Ibldprplgld I agree with you it will be a shoot out. It could go either way with LSU or Georgia winning. I think the last team with the ball could end up winning this game. It will be a good one to watch.

I'd be concerned if LSU had a habit of not showing up in big games under The Hat™. But that's never been an issue, so I know LSU will be ready.

I think UGA gets the win. The QBs and RBs will be fun to watch for both teams.

Yep.. Every game.. Have you not seen the big plays down the field ODB has dropped ? Or are you just too big a homer to remember those plays ?

I'm really not sure where LSU fans have gotten this idea, but I really hope their coaches and team have the same attitude.

I think the LSU D will be the deciding factor. The offense between the two teams is close to a wash, but LSU is far better on Defense. If they get enough key stops....LSU wins

Where can you find this stat?

Sorry, I wasn't clear and didn't account for the "butthurt factor".
I can't ever see it as a disadvantage in winning a specific game. Of course having an easier schedule is an advantage in winning a conference or making the BCS title game.

Everyone points to the South Carolina game as Georgia blowing up a great defense, but outside of Clowney (who is having a down year) who is playing great on USCe's defense. Vandy hung 25 on them last week.
Are they tested sure, but my bigger concern is the amount of young players on LSU's team. They haven't been in a big game on the road yet. Yes LSU hasn't played a highly ranked team yet, but to be fair Last year they looked like garbage against weaker opponents. This year they are dominating them as they should be. Auburn is still an SEC school with SEC talent. They had what two bad years and everyone thinks they are a dumpster fire all of the sudden.
All that said I think the two schools are pretty even in talent with each team having slight edges in certain positions. It could really go either way. The good news is after this game you will know exactly where each of these teams are at in terms of expectations. Georgia would not have that question about them if they beat Clemson. But in true Georgia fashion they lost to an underdog then won as an underdog. They are still a good team but that certainly raises questions.
Here's to a hell of a game
