Wow, interesting.

I wonder if this will be a trend now that we’ve had a few games?

No idea why that keeps coming up, I doubt it. Pretty sure he's already got an agent and training for draft. I dont believe those reports really of him possibly coming back.

Farrell came back because he was the only one who opt'd out due to covid only basically, his grandmother got better recently and now he wants back in, he probably thought she was going to die and they were close.

Vincent, Chase and Shelvin all opt'd out to go into draft and pretty sure all 3 have agents.

Not a huge deal IMO. Apparently he was being passed up on the depth chart by the younger guys

Shelvin is still on roster, not Vincent or Chase.

Doesnt mean anything, he was the most recent opt out. Form what I've heard, it would be downright shocking if he returned. It would be shocking if he didnt already have an agent and when he told O he was opting out for draft Coach O was pissed and told to him to leave then made some comments about he must have been worried about losing some playing time to Ika as well. It was not a pretty break up at all compared to say Chase or Vincent.

Hope it's a trend and they are realizing it's kind of dumb to sit out the season.

Farrell is the only one of our opt outs due to covid, the other 3 are for NFL reasons only (well, to declare for NFL and start training due to weird season)

That's odd. Just a few weeks ago he had been passed up on the depth chart according to many LSU fans.

That's never been the case (dont care what some rando fan said), Farrell was a beast last year.

According to PFF he was the 2nd best Dline per grading on our team last season, ahead of Rashard Lawrence, just behind Tyler Shelvin. He's NFL quality easily.

Yep. I don’t know said what about the players that opted out. But, Farrell was always pushing to be a starter. It was McLendon, Thomas and Parker that O hadn't mentioned since Spring.

Personally I think getting Farrell back is huge for LSU.

But there were definitely some who claimed he lost his job.
