I guess that one upvote was from the umpire that called it correctly. Or maybe it was from the review umpire that confirmed it.
I get that you don’t like the rule.
But there is a picture of where they say the baserunner can slide on a force play. Then there are pictures of where the baserunner slid. He slid outside the area allowed, shaded in blue, defined in the rules. Upvotes and downvotes don’t change that.

I just went and checked. He is still out. They haven’t changed the call because of the outrage here.

I don't expect them to, officials make bad calls all the time. It's part of the game.

I think everyone is just confused as to why they'd say a runner sliding to the bag isn't sliding towards the bag.

The rules simple and clear. They say the base runner is allowed to slide in the shaded area on a force at second. That is where he should slide. If he doesn’t they can call him out. Like they did.
