I'm sure. Tebow is arguably the best college player ever. Cam isn't.

Cam's played 7 games. Want to compare their 1st 7 game stats?

So....you sure?

Man, you really pulled this number out of your arse. Do you really think LSU's D will give up that many points? You must have been hitting the bottle hard tonight. It's great how all the Auburn fans are so high on themselves right now, I hope it reflects how the team is feeling right now. Auburn will lose this game. They'll be LUCKY if they put up 24 points.

Dude, the point is that Cam Newton doesn't present anything "new." He's a big guy that runs well and is a pretty good passer.

Same with Tebow. Somebody made a comment that LSU has never seen anything like Cam. My point was simply that this wasn't the case. As a matter of fact, we are quite used to facing a QB with his skill set.

If anything, you should take it as a compliment that Cam is being compared to Tebow, and not get all worked up, wanting to split hairs about their stats from the first 7 games. Seriously, you are missing the point.

Nothing like comparing stats of a junior forced into action because of no competition to a freshman backup.

The key to the game is 3rd down conversions (and of course turnovers, but that goes without saying). If LSU can move the chains sufficiently, it'll keep the D fresh. A fresh LSU D can slow Newton enough to win. A tired LSU D will mean a blowout AU win.

LSU does not have the offensive firepower to get into a track meet like Ark. attempted.

If cam is only involved in 24 points, auburn will only score 31 max.
