I'm not convinced Chavis is going to be much better at stopping an LSU type attack than Snyder was. Chavis's calling card is stopping pass-happy spread teams. Any strong rushing attack, and especially ones that use the middle of the field gave him problems the last 2-3 years.

Chavis went to the school where expectations are MUCH lower. Sumlin hired him so that he could get over the "LSU hump" but will be damned to find out that he wasn't the main reason LSU has consistently beat A&M.
