If they need silly phone calls to get fired up then there are greater problems with the team. Alabama will be fired up phone calls or not come Saturday. And I'm sure their phones will have nothing to do with that mental preparation and pregame moral.

Yeah like it didnt make a difference in the past.
Like Ricky-Jean running his mouth against Florida and then pussing out on gameday.
I would rather we show up and win then run our mouths like punks.

I haven't read this thread, and if it is true, I have to say...actually taking the time to call players of the opposing team is probably one of the stupidest things you can do. It makes LSU look really, really bad

You're right, those losses were completely attributed to the phone calls. The players were so infuriated that they didn't even need a hype video or pregame speech to pump them up.
