He can brag about his financial status being better than everyone who responds, however………………most who respond still have their kids that avoid making poor choices.
I guess in comparison, money isn’t everything.

Was this the same kid that rammed a boat at Wham and hurt the other boat driver?
no but he made the news again with an ATV / UTV crash that left a passenger crippled.
Same thing went to everyone associated with HS athletics in LA as well.

Shoot dome reeked of weed a couple of games.

Not money from Jesuit... but you are fooling yoursefl and others if you don't think it is the most powerful diploma from a LA HS.

What exactly is this magical, powerful diploma getting one?
the national reach of society of jesus......

Here’s the thing… that dude from Jesuit skipped off to IMG and now nobody even remembers his name unless they follow IMG. Hope he enjoys his money (that he would have got at Jesuit).

oh and being the number one player from LA is no guarantee of $$$$$ in NFL... I can name 3 that never played a down in the "the league"

Good job by crew..... What you don't want to see is a kid do something stupid in a jam that will keep him out week one.

Very likely that was the fairly new defenseless receiver rule that was flagged. You either have to hit him with open hands or wrap up - can't shoulder hit until he makes a football move and becomes a runner.

You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out who the source of the information to Garland Gillin was.

Or you can believe he just decided to make up this strangely specific detail and insert it in his reporting for no reason at all.
do you realize how often the media gets things wrong?

One thing is sure. He better not underestimate the Cajuns. UL was the first college in the nation to develop a computer science degree and its graduates excel. Before MIT and Harvard. Alao nationally renowned Engineering degree.maybe with a lot of Indians and Pakistanis. But so. And when it comes to politics and protecting hunting, down home non college graduate Cajuns are the masters of persuasion. Just watch.

I get the frustration, and I agree with you, but let’s not pretend that this is happening at a very high rate. How many Easton Royals are out there?

This was the jamboree. It doesn’t count in the regular season standings
I'll wager it had nothing to do with the game.

I get it.

1) it was preseason. Curious what they would do if regular season

2) LHSAA seems like they have had enough of these issues.

Yes most certainly would in a regular season or even playoff game.

Every facet involved with HS sports from BESE, LHSAA, LHSOA, school boards, schools and parents are growing very very weary and leery of this. I bring it up in pre-game PAC meeting(it's a shame but we have to plan for crap like this every game - every venue). I've learned you can't just plan for one egress plan now but an alternate as well.

I don't understand why you punish the players and teams here. If anything, you set a precedent now. Your team is losing, start some fights with opposing fans so the game is called and it's a no contest.

It doesn't sound like any players were involved. Just delay the game and clear the grandstands, then finish the game in an empty stadium.

Don't punish the kids because the spectators can't just watch a football game and cheer on their team.

Officials are responsilbe for the safety of the kids on the field - it's our first and primary resposibility.

Given the propensity for this kind of stuff to keep escalating and spilling onto the field - ABSOLUTELY SHUT IT DOWN.

Then there is the fact for gun shots to start

Games get shut down when there are gun shots within earshot of stadiums now.

I hate it for the kids but another issue if it escalates is getting kids and officials out of the venue safely.

Many officials are starting to refuse to officiate schools or venues that are having repeated problems like this(especially in basketball).

Twice having to be the one to go and tell both teams the game was over(school admins and LEO wanted it shut down, I simply agreed) it sucks especially when they game really mattered or was the last game of the year.

This is a growing nationwide problem.
