LSU.. Brennan is not that bad. It was the defense of MSU.

Let's be honest here. MSU doesn't have the star names. A walk on started in the secondary. They lost their best CB halfway through the game.

This isn't a loaded MS ST defense. PERIOD. So what happened?

It's called the 3-3-5 and the man running it is a guru with it.

Miles looked like a deer in headlights. He had no idea what the defense was really doing. Is showed in the OL to. They had no idea where the Blitzes where coming from.

The coveted Austin Deculus was confused at one point and allowed the guy lined up on him to fly right by him.

7 sacks!

Saban already looking for ways to beat that defense.

I love all of the Stingley excuses, yet they ignore this fact

Shhh! We can’t hide the fact that we have a solid offense, can’t point out that our defense is better than expected.

629 yards passing!
629 yards passing!
629 yards passing!
7 sacks
629 yards passing!
629 yards passing!

Saban is probably letting his OC handle that and is more concerned with the offense.
Mississippi State’s defense is certainly not its strength this season, though it was better than expected.

Our left tackle was a swinging door as well. TBH though 3 of those sacks were in the last drive or two but the pressure was there all day and Brennan couldnt deal with it.

It was the scheme. That OL against anybody else is solid. But more so than anything and people better not over look it it what they did in the secondary.

I new we would struggle early on offense but our defense sucked! This is one of the worst games LSU has played in the last 20 years .

Deculus, or Declueless as I call him, is far from "coveted" he was in the top 10 in SEC in pressure allowed last season

They gave LSU a hard time for about a half last season, not the same personnel or scheme but even Saint Joe had trouble for about a half with MSU.

Wrong. Brennan looked that bad.

He had open receivers. He had room to scramble for yards. He looked lost on every play that wasn't a 5 yard pass over the middle.

Brennan and our DBs were embarrassing.

I would slow down on the great Leach rhetoric. LSU is playing with 16 year olds it seems. Everybody will have heisman moments against LSU this year. Let's see MSU do that against Bama or UF.

He did. I didn't say that he did not look bad. I said he looked bad because the 3-3-5 confused him.
