At one point, Coconut Beach (New Orleans and then Kenner) was the largest sand volleyball complex in the gulf south region (they made sure to remind you all the time ?).

It's a man-made beach off Lake Pontchartrain. That's not what I was talking about. Not that I don't get your point but to refute my point with a man-made beach off a lake is doing the opposite. Louisiana has had to manufacture beaches to grow the sport.

LSU Beach Volleyball Ranked #1
Cool.
What's y'all's quidditch team ranked too?

Think so, along with Fishing and Bowling
That's what we have in the SE instead of those Cali sports (water polo, full contact chess, cricket, etc.) :)

I do and over 95% of it is marsh. If you google the top beaches in Louisiana they're almost all lake beaches.

How many beaches does Arkansas have again? Do you even Elmer's Island bro? Holly Beach even?

Lmfaooooo why are you salty over this? How many beaches Arkansas has is 100% irrelevant. I'm making general comments and y'all are getting in your feelings about it for a truly unfathomable reason.

I wasn't really trying to refute your point, TBH. How would you possibly know about Coconut Beach? I was more-so telling you about the popularity of the sport in South Louisiana, and a big reason why.

I appreciate that! That really did help it make more sense. One of the other replies was "we have thousands of beaches" and that's why I got defensive . My apologies

It just so happened that LSU "manufactured" the largest on-campus beach volleyball facility in the country. Then filled it...
