A Big East all-star team was able to defeat D.R. by single digits earlier this year in the Pan-American games:
Big East All-stars beat D.R. for Bronze

And again, we werent even playing our best players a ton of minutes

LSU looking like a ranked team. They should be decent as long as the NCAA investigation keep getting pushed.

Mostly Big East players, that version of Team USA still had quite a few players from across the country.

So LSU lost by 4 to a team that played the US national team close.

Yes, it was an exhibition game and I don't think either team was going all out, but that is a pretty darn good showing.

Its not like LSU got skulldrug by Itawamba Community College. As I have said before, that was a very good trip for LSU.

FC Barcelona:

You mean FC Barcelona Silver

FC Barcelona would beat LSU, or any other SEC team for that matter, by 30+.

I'm not gonna criticize LSU for losing to a team of 20-something pros while testing out new rotations, but I do think it's important to point out that the Puerto Rico team wasn't playing LSU with a full deck, either, and this Puerto Rico team isn't very good anyways. I'd be surprised if they get out of group stage.
