I think the least surprising thing is that he probably works at Waffle House.

Do enjoy the ride. I am old enough to remember when he didn’t a lot of rides each and every year.

I think this team looks destined to be Omaha bound, and hopefully we can hang an SEC tournament or Regular season championship but to win a national championship in baseball you have to:

+ be one of the dozen teams skilled enough to do that (we rarely don’t have that)

+ be well coached (checked)

Yet to be determined:

—be lucky in both play and injury
—get a get draw in tournament
—be playing your best ball of the year (see Ole Miss last year )
—be lucky in the CWS (see arky few years back and Miss State in 90s)

Being the most talented and having an excellent coach is great but doesn’t guarantee you anything. As a matter of fact I would rather be the hot team going into the post season that the most talented team any day and twice on Sunday’s.

I've made this plea. You're pissing up a rope.

Yep. A lot of things that LSU fans should know after so much success in baseball aren't shown or practiced on this board. It's pretty pathetic.

Baseball is a fickle sport. You can be swinging the bat so well that everything looks like a beach ball coming at you. Next at bat you see marbles and cant hit air.
Same thing with fielding, one bad hop and everything is tricky. So many things can go right or wrong.
I don't blame you I'd be nervous as shite coming down the stretch. #1all season then it happens. You don't want to be Tennessed.

What on Gods Green and Blue earth does this even have ANYTHING to do with SEC baseball.

Y’all are 6 and 15. Let’s revisit this in a month…

Embarrassment. SIX AND FIFTEEN. That’s missing the tourney and a 4 seed.

Stop putting down a season that has very very CLEARLY stats and wins show the real story.

SIX AND FIFTEEN. Serraneaux has been summoned

Meh, doesn't matter.

This board will blast LSU if they do anything less than winning a natty.

This is probably true, but most definitely not because of the coach or team....

This is true, but with most teams this hits one or two players at a time for a stretch. Then, you snap out of it and see beach balls again. LSU's good enough to absorb a player or two going into a slump. Kling is a good example, that is why he was pulled from the lineup for a bit, now he is back hitting dingers.

—be playing your best ball of the year (that happened)
—be lucky in the CWS (see arky few years back and Miss State in 90s) Whether is was luck and skill who knows but we got critical hits and defensive plays when it counted)

Being the most talented and having an excellent coach is great but doesn’t guarantee you anything. As a matter of fact I would rather be the hot team going into the post season that the most talented team any day and twice on Sunday’s.

Well we are national champions again, so everyone is free to brag, post shite etc now.

I am very very proud of this team and they way they played the game, with class, and good sportsmanship. May I humbly suggest, (although we be ignored by many), that as fans we should do the same.

That said, congratulations to Florida and Tennessee on great seasons and reaching the championship game and the CWS, as well as to Arkansas for winning the SEC title and Vandy for winning the SEC Tournament. It was just our year for the National Championship.
