Screw total yardage. Everyone new going into the Nov 5th, the team who could establish the run game would win.

Lsu easily outrushed Bama.

And that was with only a partial time option attack. Watch out when we fully unleash our spread option/power veer attack.

2 - started drive at 25 because it was OT (referees?)
did you forget that it was just after Bama started a drive at the 25 because of OT? what was Bama's total net yardage on that "drive", btw? (notice it did not make the list of red zone trips)

largest turnover margin in the country. It's part of the game just like field goals.

Gumpboy look at the score. You lost. Please accept it and move on. You could not move the ball when it counted. Our defense forced your coach to totally panic. His quick decisions sucked. And kicking impossible FG's when he knew his kicker has no range was downright stupid. We played well under pressue like we have all year. It was Bamas first case of playing under pressure and they wilted. Move back to Bama where all gumps belong. Get ready for another beatdown in the dome!

Uhm, this thread was never about the final score. It was specifically created, by an LSU fan I might add, directed towards offensive ball movement, or lack thereof.

That's like arguing over who's girlfriend is better looking and when you cant make your point saying "Yeah but I drive a Ferrari so ha-ha". Yeah, your point is correct, but its totally irrelevant to the conversation.

That's why we are the complete team, and better team. We took advantage of our opportunities. Bama couldn't even get in our redZone in OT

that's 5 yards away from the 25. You went backwards.

I get that, and I give your team kidos for that, but, thats not what the OP was addressing in this thread.

IS this the same one you unleashed in the UGA dome.

Oh I've moved on to January 9th.

Pretty sure it counts from start to finish.

Such as the 44 yarder missed in the 1st half and the 46 yarder made in the 2nd half? Saban knew your offense wasn't gonna do much.

As evidenced by the 9 pts? Or the 0 1st downs in the 1st half against UG?

Look at the drive graphs, homeboy. Look at the total yardage, homeboy.

I'm looking at drive graphs and they show Alabama only getting into LSU's redzone ONE time. I'm looking at total yardage, and then subtracting 1st quarter numbers and coming up with...

Alabama yards qtrs 2 thru ot = 168
LSU yards qtrs 2 thru ot = 171

Ask UGA and ARK how winning the 1st quarter went for them.

But hey, those other teams that outgained LSU are good teams. Alabama's in good company with Oregon, WVU, Arky and UGA.

and the one from the 6 was in OT and we just basically ran the ball towards the middle to set up the FG. So it's not like yall stopped us

60+ minutes and neither team got in the endzone no matter how you spin it. Having a pissing contest about whose offense was better is just sad.

again, NOT THE POINT OF THE OP.

YOU CANT JUST DECIDE THAT SINCE YOUR ORIGINAL ARGUMENT SUCKS YOU WILL JUST BRING UP OTHER shite TO WIN THE ARGUMENT.

That's shite that my wife does when she is losing an argument.

No, I didnt forget that abortion of an excuse of playcalling and QB play that took us backwards. Both teams had drives that went their way and drives that didnt. That one didnt go our way, yalls did. This decided the game.

The point remains, dont bring up trips to the redzone that werent facilitated by your offense while attacking ours in the same breath.

I mean yall can say your offense was more effective because they had more yards

but we were separated by what 50 yards? I'm fairly confident our field position that night as relative to Bama's could account for that difference

True. But we did get to the redzone 3 times more than Alabama did.. and that is a fact.

except that only one of your drives that you could make that arguement on ended in a score. The one resulting from the interception. All the other great field position drives facilitated by your retardedly good punter did the same thing as your other drives, fizzled and died rather quickly.

So what does that say about your team when they only got in the redone once?
