I thought he was decent before the game, but his toughness impressed me and he’s definitely an athlete. Think he’ll be good for you the rest of the year.

Your coach said on Monday that you guys beat yourselves and that you played bad and Florida played their best. Do you agree with his comments?

Multiple times we had pretty big plays that got taken away by penalties. One specifically I remember was the pass to the TE that got 25 put us in fg range but we got a holding call ended up punting. Don’t want to take away from Florida the defense played great but we didn’t play our best.

If LB Phillips plays it's probably a different game. But Y'all outplayed us for sure.

Don't remember him saying that.

On UF's go-head TD drive the pass that was completed to midfield was a thing of beauty. The WR was covered by Delpit and Greedy and it didn't matter. UF still made the play. On our final drive we dropped an easy pass to an open WR that would have set up shop at the UF 30.

But in the end, UF made more plays and deserved the win. Not having Philips in the middle was huge. Hopefully we get him back this week.

Burrows blind side was a revolving door for your D, especially #11.
There’s a lot of things we could’ve done different but I was really impressed by the UF defense.
When it all comes down to it, it was a really close game that came down to final 2 minutes in a hostile, sold out Swamp.
We’ll get you guys back next year in TS though, don’t worry

I think LSU would still be a 3-4 point fav at a neutral field. It was just our day. If CEO can keep the team focused, they will beat Georgia in Tiger Stadium.

Gators wanted it more. Joe needs to learn how to throw the ball out of bounds at the 4 second count if no receivers are open.

Not looking for a fight or anything as such, but when you start playing the what if we had this player game it kind of negates an argument.
Obviously Phillips was missed and would’ve helped you guys, but we also are missing Marco Wilson who would’ve probably made plays on the long balls you guys had against #12. See how that works?

I agree we did not play well. Our O Line got dominated. Our receivers dropped passes. Costly penalties. Defense looked tired, could not tackle the RBs. When it was time for Burrow and co. to come in clutch, he throws a pick 6.

Florida D looked good.

I think it was a combination of our defense putting it all together and The Swamp atmosphere reaching levels we haven’t seen in quite a while. I was at the game, the environment was electric the entire game, but when the 4th quarter rolled around and the sun started to go down, we took it up another couple notches.

The biggest difference that I saw though, was the in game adjustments by Florida, and lack of by LSU. Mullen schemes around our deficiencies while also hitting your weak spots. Overall it was a fantastic game to be a part of.

We basically had our third string corner out there for the first qt and Burrows smartly was told to throw at him. The second stringer Trey Dean came in the second qt after he had to sit out the first because of targeting call early against MSU.

We didn't have our stout ILB or DE CeCe Jefferson for MSU either and it hurt us...but it is what it is. I don't think one player makes a difference. You man up and fight. In the fourth qt our defense was not tired an that was a huge difference maker. Your players were on th east side directly in the sun most of the day and it will take its toll on you. But Mullen brough his ace S&C coach Savage with him (along with most of his MSU staff) and I can tell you now it has had us MUCH tougher. Under Mac it was pathetic.

See ya next year in red stick.

I'm not playing games. My next sentence after mentioning Phillips was "y'all outplayed us"

Quit being insecure amigo

No,not at all. Florida won the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball 8 out of 10 times. In a game with two very evenly matched teams that is huge.

Best team won Saturday in Gainesville.

Exactly. LSU had there chance late in the game and couldn't execute. Florida was backed up against their own end zone and ran it six straight times for two first downs. Florida had the will power to win at the end. LSU did not.

Yes. LSU wins that game 7/10 times. Florida came to play, so I give them credit for that. But LSU is a better team.
