Nope. PETA can't keep anyone from doing anything. Just like when LSU got its current tiger, the only thing PETA can do is whine and throw a hissy fit and that will be that. And, as sad as it is that LSU's current tiger has cancer, the groundbreaking treatment and research that is being done as a result of it only enhances LSU's ability to acquire another one.

Yes. They done starting arguing amongst themselves about the geographical of baton rogue and Angola prison. The guys post had nothing to do with the distance between BR and Angola . simply stating that Angola prison is better than starkville. I love coonasses

Not sure if this was taken in BR but if it was she was arrested for blocking traffic and such. The second picture she's getting frisked. The pic angle makes it look bad.
I have three really good friends that are BRPD. They said that most of the protesters they arrested were from out of state...professional protesters.

I lived in BR and I hated everyday there. Traffic sucks, locals only care about what highschool you went to (don't get it), and the rent is to damn high. Only people who grew up in BR like it. BR has three saving graces, really good food, a night life, and LSU. I can't speak for Starkvages never been there.

I drive through BR twice a day and I cuss every time I drive through. Traffic is unreal. The people that I work with said it wasn't near this bad until Katrina happened and they haven't fixed it.

Where are you getting this from? Baton Rouge has museums; beautiful municipal parks, zoos, theme parks and golf courses; wonderful restaurants, great nightlife, historic architecture, buildings, downtown, gorgeous capital grounds, WWII carrier museum on the river, thriving convention and downtown business, great tourist attractions, huge national events (Miss USA, National Hot Air Balloon competition, etc.) Not to mention one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country.

That's right. I think the paper said 50 protesters got arrested. Out of the 50 only 7 we're from baton rogue.

No its by Baker(unless you consider baker the hood) It's a really sad place and needs ALOT of attention. (I can only compare the zoo to Audubon and the San Diego zoos, those are the only other zoos I've been to)
