Could possibly be the record setting offense lead by a legitimate Heisman candidate coupled with a top 20 defense that is only getting better, which fields arguably the best defensive backfield in the country lead by arguably the best DB in the country in Stingley Jr.
Yeah this sounds similar to the same bullshite we hear every year.
Remember how amazing LSU was supposed to be after beating Georgia last year?

The fact that LSU is scoring at will should have you taking them seriously? I know that you are trolling like the rest of the tards on here, but LSU has set scoring records through 5 games. Did Auburn do that before last weeks game? Did their offense impress you prior to Florida?

You've heard every year that LSU has a record setting offense?
Weird.

If the game is really close, which I think it will be, does this expose LSU somewhat?
Teams that will compete with or beat Alabama is going up and up every year. As impressive as that Duke win was Jalen Hurts is not walking back in that door to help Tua get over the hump to a NC.

No.
If LSU wins by 1 score or loses - not legit
If LSU wins by 2 scores - legit, but not a real threat
If LSU wins by 3 or more scores - ok they’re an actual threat
I’m looking at this as an Alabama fan, so LSU can be a good team but not an actual threat. I’m trying to gauge whether or not they could actually beat us, or give us a scare
My honest assessment is that you have no clue how football works. Sorry.

No. we should just say that it was yet again another overrated top 10 team and that we’ve played no one.
If LSU beats Florida by multiple scores, that will be exactly the narrative. Or "but they were playing their backup QB and he was hurt". Anything but "oh shite, maybe LSU is legit this year!"
Honestly, if I'm a Bama fan I want LSU to come into Tuscaloosa undefeated so that it will be that much more satisfying of a win a la 2015 when Bama sent Les Miles reeling into a tailspin he never recovered from.

did you even read my post?
I didnt realize LSU has been running an up tempo spread with a Heisman contender at QB "every year".
you sound simple

You’re not making a good impression of Bama fans in this thread, I gotta tell you.

From the guys with the 129 ranked schedule so far, that got dismantled in last game par year. Classic

Normally I’d give Florida a 50% shot at beating us based on previous matchups and how crazy unpredictable that game is. I just don’t see them out scoring our offense this year especially in Death Valley.

This isn't every year - this is this year. It's different. You'll see soon enough Gump.

Florida has a really good D and some very talented skill players, so anything is possible when you have that. Also, Mullen has done well against Aranda's D. But I do think they are catching LSU at a bad time. LSU's D is getting healthier and looked like an LSU D on Saturday. And the offense put up 600 yards even without one of their elite WRs. Top 10 matchup at night in Tiger Stadium with a non-mobile Trask making his first start in a hostile environment could spell trouble for Florida.
Florida is rarely an easy out for LSU and vice versa as this has been the most competitive series in the SEC lately. So if LSU wins by two scores with that defense, you can bet they are a threat to anyone. Though Bama still obviously has LSU's number. Completely different look and level of execution on offense this year though for LSU.

Alabama is a real mystery this year.
Their resume isn’t that impressive.
Doubt they make the playoff.

Our offense and defense is ranked higher than bama and we've played a tougher schedule

I don’t see bama as a legit threat at this point.
We’ll find out this weekend.

What are more LSU threads about the same topic, just worded differently, for $1000, Alex.
