i've always liked shaq ... think he's a bit over-rated as an all time great (not that he's not), but he doesn't take himself too seriously ...
I honestly think he is underrated. I think he was the most dominant player in NBA history when he was in his prime. They changed rules in order to slow him down

eh ... imo, as the nba became more physical and the rules/fouls were interpreted in favor of more physical play, guys like shaq had the advantage ... he's a hof player, no doubt, and he did get hacked like nobody's business, but i favor hakeem and kareem's style of play more ...

@LSUBeatTweet: Best crowd of season so far at LSU for Georgia coming up on ESPNU. About 8,000.

I still can't figur out how LSU didn't make it to the Final Four with Shaq and Stanley Roberts

I'll take shaqs pure dominance in his time with the Lakers over anyone else. Meh I'll take that back. I'd go michael and then shaq

It wasn't hard to make them ineffective on defense during the games.

Leave your bigs on top of the key, drive to the basket with your guards.

Dale Brown would never switch to a zone to prevent you from doing so, Shaq and Roberts weren't block shots and grabbing boards 20 feet from the basket.

I forgot that Arkansas was once good in basketball. They were great back then. Thanks for reminding me. By the way, I think Nolan Richardson shined my shoes a few months back while waiting for my flight at the airport.

no wonder y'all won a National Championship in the 90s. Y'all were stacked.

On Youtube a while back i was watching one of the ESPN super tuesday games from the Barn. Seems like the teams always scored over 100, or ARk would score 100+, LSU around 90

I didn't realize this too until I started coming to the SECRANT.

They Hijack almost any SEC basketball related thread to remind everyone that they were really good 20 years ago.

Hard to believe they have not been to a final four, elite eight and sweet sixteen in two decades.

We red-shirted a McDonald's AA in 95.

True story.

damn.

Arkansas is still one of the toughest road places to play, even in the newer Arena.

I've never been to NWA, but would like make it up for either a baseball series or see a Basketball game.

LSU plays up here this year, but finding a ticket may be hard, 17k showed up today, it will be sold out next weekend if they win @TENN Tuesday, if not only 16-17k again.
