How come you didn't bold that part? Oh that would work against your agenda. Ok.

No dumbass, if you read the post Transy (which gave birth to UK) is older than both schools which is why that part does not apply. It has nothing to do with agenda and everything to do with actual history. Do you actually know the history of your state?

Alcohol sales account for less than 1% of our revenue. Take them away, we will still make more than you...and much much more than you in 2014. Deal with it. And slapping lipstick on a pig will not make your facilities better.

You can always tell when your winning an argument when name calling begins. You respond because the facts get under your skin. I know it stings. I am here to rub the salt in.

Mike, because even the Card trolls are Kentuckians and it makes me sad to see folks perpetuating the backward stereotypes of KY citizens in the national media and the national stage. They are not aggravating me as much as they are embarrassing the state at large by their lack of knowledge on the big issues.

They still have no clue what they are about to experience in the ACC. If they think the UK fans will test them and treat them like a kid brother wait till they start getting slammed by the Dookies, Tar Heels and other elite ACC schools. UVA is already their partner and mixing those fans will be real oil and water type reactions.

Check back on that CLC of yours after this fiscal year. I guarantee it plummets with the season they had and ours skyrockets. Um newflash, UK has more fans than us. I would completely expect them to sell more merchandise. *slaps forehead*. You are sharp man. Look back in the mid 2000's and you will see them hovering in the 13-15 range. They make a new tshirt about us every single week. Id be happy to post all 1,000 of them right here. For somebody that claims to be big brother they make more tshirts about us than they do their own program.

Congrats, go print the fricking t shirts. I am sure you can put it on the wife beaters, they will go off the shelves quick.

They also make DVD's about beating us in football. Yes they actually did this. After losing 4 straight games to us, they finally broke the streak and made a DVD about beating us. If the day comes when we make a DVD for beating uk in football I vow to never cheer for UofL sports ever again. Lil dick syndrome.

So do all the other Flagships on that list. You just do not get it do you? While merchandise drives the bottom line it is also a rough gauge of how valuable your brand is. This has a decided correlation to what teams get on TV the most and who gets the biggest seats at the table. Sure Alabama has a powerful football team but the Alabama brand is valuable in getting them exposure.

Why do you think all the folks on here are trying to point out why a Flagship or Land Grant status is so important to conference realignment?

Grits, I think I should request on the help board that you and the Birdie should have a spooning session on a PM.

This entire thread was started by a Georgia fan asking if you missed the bus on Louisville. In short yes, you missed the bus. Grits, you missed the short bus. If you don't want Louisville fans coming to the board then don't post topics with us in it. You opened the can of worms, not us. But Im extremely happy I was able to educate some of you.

Thanks but no thanks. Just makes me sad that Card fans like this will be terrible ambassadors for the state when they join the ACC. I really think that have no idea on the politics they are getting into when they make the move. At least if they had gone to the Big 12 they would have had and ally in OU and only had to deal with the longhorns.

Someone doesn't know what flagship means.

How on earth this has turned to Flagship I dunno LOL. I can say this. Everyone has seen those car bumper stickers that say "My child can beat up your honor roll child" or words to that effect. Well that defines the University of Louisville to UK. UK may be the "flagship school" in our state, but we beat them up all the time in various sports.

a) I do not go on UL boards and have no desire to do so
b) I know more about UL than you do and probably have better connections
c) I was trying to help you but you refuse to open your mind so it is you who are still on the short bus

Look I get that you are feeling your oats after the year the Cards are finishing up but I have been around long enough to know that slow and steady win the race in the long haul. Take the chip off your shoulder and get better educated for what your future holds so you are not just another flash in the pan.
