Two of the most rabid fan bases in America

See, you are confirming it takes (2) rabid fan bases to drive ratings. Thank you for confirming the point I have made several times on here already. UL could win the MNC the next two years but I am pretty sure they will never approach the fan base of an Alabama in football or a Kentucky in basketball.

You still did not say what your CAF standing was? Are you avoiding this for a reason?

Why do you limit your ratings glorification to ESPN only? The CBS game is THE matchup of the week. Why exclude it from your comparisons?

Oh I don't care what is used. I'm just stating facts. Grits tries to rattle this stat off like its just another typical tv rating for an $EC matchup on any given saturday. Like I said, it drew a 4.4 the previous year, which l'd be willing to bet is closer to the norm than the 11.5 Pretty funny stuff.

Dude what is your deal? Why is this any interest to you? I have enough points that I have lower level seats in both football and basketball. GREAT seats as a matter of fact. Freak.

You're so jelly that the SEC wants your big brother but doesn't want your second rate university and athletic department.

Dude, you have 60 posts in two days on a board that has nothing to do with your teams conference because of a simple thread.

This thread would have gone away yesterday if you didn't have such a huge case of little dick syndrome that you felt the need to sign up and post in it.

Because this is the internet and the internet is serious business.

Also, because for a person with such good seats you would think you would understand sports better. Folks I know with really good seats in Louisville are much better to have discussions about sports with.

Do you know what the LSU/Bama game drew in 2012? 6.8 (11.3 million viewers). The next week - Bama/A&M? 6.1 (9.6 million viewers). The SECCG? 9.8 (16.2 million viewers).

People watch good football.

OK now lets think about this rationally for a second. yes funny I know. LSU and Alabama drew a 6.8. We are comparing LSU and ALABAMA to Louisville and WEST VIRGINIA yet we STILL drew a 5.3. Louisville...a city school and West Virginia? Take the population of Kentukcy and West Virginia COMBINED and you dont even equal ONE of Louisiana or Alabama...yet STILL drew a 5.3. Is it sinking in yet? Yes youre absolutely right, people do like to watch good football.

The 'couple of grand' for March Madness kind of gave it away. A couple of grand? Not in this universe.

Hey genius. Alabama has 4.8 million residents. Louisiana has 4.6 million. Kentucky has 4.2 million. Yeah, West Virginia only has 1.9, but you're really way off on Kentucky, Alabama, and Louisiana. Google is your friend...
