Think about it this way USMC Gator, you know how UGA counts that one extra game in the Georgia-Florida game? It was a game against a UF Intramural team. Yeah, that's essentially what those 1910s and 1920s games were for UofL.

Kentucky won 6 games from the early 1900's when UofL was a club team. They are clinging on to dear life to those meaningless wins. They have already tried to cancel once on us when Petrino was drumming them every season by 4 TD's. As they face a third straight loss this season, they have already dropped hints on attempting to cancel again. Wald-cayuts?? or pussy cayuts? Which is it?

Of course if that's the case and they want to talk "modern era" we can talk about our sheer dominance of them in basketball since the renewal of the basketball series, 21-12, in the 80s when they won their first couple championships.
We also have them 3-2 in the post-season in basketball as well.
But they don't want it both ways. They only want to mention the "modern era" in football.

And it's funny how UK fans like BluegrassBelle never want to talk about overall sports programs. Like how UofL just beat the SEC Champion Vanderbilt today (funny how Vandy had no problem handing UK) in baseball and is one win away from our second College World Series, something UK will never experience. Or how about our 2 BCS Bowl Game wins, again something UK will never experience. Or what about those 2 National Runner-Up Appearances in Women's Basketball, or our Runner-Up Appearance in Soccer. The fact is UofL has been to the pinnacle in all 4 major sports, UK has been to the pinnacle in 1. One trick pony if there ever was one.

I also know that most UF fans don't count that UGA game. Just like they don't, I really don't either. I understand they are still in the records, but that was a completely different game back then and has absolutely no bearing on the modern day series.

Like I said before. Uk likes to pick and choose when to play us. They wouldnt play us in footal unless we played the first FOUR games of the series in Lexington. They dodged us during the Peck Hickman era and Denny Crum's prime in basketball. Most of their wins came during Denny's decline. Want proof they were scared to play us? Here ya go.

Funny how you avoid the question, the fact is we have been to the pinnacle in all 4 major sports, UK has not. Oh and the way things I'll going I think we have a great chance at adding a National Title in a few weeks in Omaha. :)

Our academics are better than yours.
We have the largest athletics department in the best conference in the country.
You're a conference whore for whichever conference that is desperate enough to take you so they can remain intact.
In the meantime, we've been a member of the Southeastern Conference since it was founded.

The only time that I've ever even touched a rifle was during my time in the Army. I'm from a far more wealthy area than most of your fan base. I'm sure that I'm not alone among Kentucky fans.

Not at all. I'm well aware of what we haven't done in some of those sports. But you mentioned athletic programs. We have the hardware to say you're still quite a bit behind.
