If we can play Western Kentucky in Nashville of all places, I'm sure you all could manage.
I wouldn't mind playing Western Kentucky in Nashville. In fact, even if we join the ACC, I would like us to play other FBS conference teams as OOC. Myself and most UofL fans would have no problem playing UK, Notre Dame, a Big Ten/Big 12/Pac 12 team, and Western Kentucky type team as our OOC. The more big games the better.

Except again, my post was overall schedule and not just FCS/ooc opponents.

No. The SEC got big brother in that state and the TV markets. Adding Louisville would be useless.

We contacted Alabama, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.
They have their pick of teams to play. You're not high on their priority list.

So how exactly how we are supposed to control our conference schedule? It's the conference we're in for a year, we have to play the conference schools.

I understand that, but then don't trash us when our schedule is not very good. We made the effort to schedule better OOC teams.

They don't want any part of Alabama or A&M. 0.

You bolster your OOC schedule to balance it out (like the SEC does in reverse).
And that means sometimes you suck it up like Boise State or Oregon (early on) has and play good teams anyplace, anytime instead of worrying about the paycheck and instead worrying about your SOS.

Bitch, we know our place. You don't know yours. The fact of the matter is that you wouldn't do any better than us if you were in the SEC, but you'll never get the chance. After your big bowl win, you're still only recruiting a very slight bit better than us. We even took Jason Hatcher out of your backyard.
Opinions are so easy to just throw out there. I disagree. You havent beaten Florida in 27 years. You lost an ungodly amount of consecutive games to Alabama too. Sorry but actual scores of actual games played says otherwise. We've beaten you 12 of 20 games since the series has been renewed. No matter what your meaningless opinion is, Louisville would undoubtedly fare much better than your doormat program. Sorry. I loved how Kentucky fans bad mouth the Big East then they get taken to the woodshed by a third place Pitt team that didnt even have its head coach on the sidelines in the 2010 irrelevant.com bowl. And that was one of you better seasons in recent memory. LMAO! Know your place suckers.

What's the overall series total?

And if it was a neutral site game I would be open to it, I said I would be open to playing UF in Jacksonville or maybe UT in Nashville. But we aren't going to go to Gainesville or Knoxville with no return trip and you can bet Oregon wouldn't do it either. We deserve more respect than that.

Er. No it wasn't. And Mike Hartline, our starting QB, was out for that game. Replaced by the Rant's favorite Morgan Newton.

Ask Mizzou how that worked out moving from a much better conference then the Big East. With a better team.

We own them in both Basketball (30-15) and Football (14-11). When we're not picking periods of time to suit our records.

UK leads the series 14 - 11 if you include the games from the 1910s and 1920s when the UofL team was essentially an intramural squad. We did not play each other for 70 years after that. Since the series resumed in 1994 UofL has an 11 - 7 advantage.

We do. We're in the best conference in the country. In the meantime you're whoring out to any conference that will take you.

I'll give you one thing BluegrassBelle, those pre World War II UK teams really beat up our intramural UofL teams. Such an accomplishment.
