I know the talent level is down at OM, but surely it's equal to or better than La Tech... this sounds like the players have just quit.

as a latech alum and fan, i am obviously thrilled with beating any sec school at their place, no matter how bad they are. and the "how would tech do in the sec debate" i read about on this thread got me thinking just how unusually unbalanced the sec is this year. bama and lsu are great, but after that the next two best teams are arkansas and georgia. really good teams, but i would not call them great. i would not give latech much of a chance against any of those teams (maybe a slight chance vs. georgia if we played them at home, which would never happen anyway). but no one else in this conference looks that good. i watched south carolina play florida yesterday. good D, bad offense. vandy, auburn, florida...decent teams. tennessee, msu (i know they beat us), kentucky, ole miss, not so good. it is a top heavy league this year.

I really thought 2-10 was a real possibility this year with all the retreads of clowns assembled on the OM coaching staff. This has been very enjoyable to follow this year. Just think a couple of years ago, OM fans were chanting "Hous-ton Nutt" on our stadium. It was funny then and even funnier now. Can't wait for the next 2 games.

Congrats to Tech, im always happy when one of our State schools beats a big school and Ole Miss is a big school even if a bad year. ULM beat Bama a few years back and embarrassed Saban. UAB did beat Saban as well. It happens. But for Tech or ULM to believe that they can play SEC ball is silly.

Tech just made the SEC look foolish and that is the point..

Actually, OM did.

You caught them at the perfect time, lame duck coach and ready to fold up like a cheap suit.
