Louisiana folks if want hurricane info follow this guy.

He is the smartest hurricane guy in the country he will follow it to landfall and record data while in the eye and eye wall.
He works for weather nation and has been on the weather channel for years. He has rode out 2 Category 5 hurricanes.

He’s had 2 updates in the past 12 hours, one of which was 11 hours ago and he said it was unlikely.

Phases I go through in the wake of a major hurricane:
1. Naw I'll be fine, I'm not leaving
2. All right I guess I should make sure I have some bottled water
3. frick, it's all sold out. Whatever
4. Nothing to worry about
5. This won't be as bad as they say
6. shite shite shite
7. (Sustained wind blowing 120 mph) Okay I'm scared, I admit it
8. It's already over, I knew it would be no big deal. Evacuating is for pansies!

I know you may be saying this a little tongue in cheek but seriously my two main fellow go to Dad network weather nerds that I call up when bad weather is around are both MSU grad buddies. One works for the Power Company as their IT guy so I feel I’m pretty set.
