A discharge petition can force a vote without the Speaker’s approval.

This ain’t the hill members want to die on.
And I’ll add, do not underestimate the anger in this state about this thing. I’m an ULL grad, and I’m furious.
For the SEC’s sake I hope that they get rid of Sankey. He’s not worthy of leading one of the 2 great conferences in this country. He’s a disaster.
